While the rush for Space Exploration have been on the increase since the First Space Mission by the USSR Sputnik 1 launched into the Orbit, sentiments and objectives have shifted from a mere stretch of human capability to the search for a Habitable New World, which will enable Multiplanetary Life For Humanity. Leading in these options is Mars, the Red Planet. Mars is the second smallest planet in our solar system, and has attracted more attention than Mercury and Venus, even though the laters are closer to the Earth than Mars. The Mars Craze have seen both Private and Public Entities join the race for the exploration and subsequent colonization of Mars. With SpaceX’s Elon boasting in certitude that Humanity will be able to sustain life in Mars by 2060.
Considering the unavoidable fate of the universe: The activity of the Dark Energy, which is causing the Universe to Expand, and considering the continuous burning of the Sun, which will eventually cause it to become too hot to support life on Earth, will Mars or any of the Planets be safe from the impending doom that will be caused by the effects of An Ever Expanding Universe and a Hydrogen Burning Sun?.
Because the sun has been burning since it’s formation 4.5 billion years ago, heating up hydrogen into it’s Helium Core, causing a shrink and ignite effect on the core and subsequent expansion of it’s outer layers. This will eventually cause the planets located closest to the Sun to melt away and even Mars is not in the potential Habitable Zone – Well, not until after Another Millions of Years. These hyperactivities could take Billions of Years to Occur, so does it mean Humanity will have enough time to sustain multiplanetary life through the Billions of years of these reactions? Continue reading to learn what our fate may become.
While observations are still ongoing to learn about the chances of extinct forms of life in the other Planets apart from Earth, there is currently no assurance that similar fate that befell whatever life that must have existed in the early years of the formation of these planets will not befell Earth. If Humanity fail to develop the Technology to sustain Multiplanetary Life, we will eventually be wallowed by the imminent fate of An Expanding Star. The Burning Sun affects all the Planets of our Solar system in their different orders of positioning.
With the current technological advancements seeking to ensure Multiplanetary Sustainability , Mars will only serve as a Temporary Home, from whence Humanity will be able to device their migration to another Planet within the Habitable Zone. But considering how long it will take Mars to become engulfed and destroyed by the Burning Sun, and how long it will take Humanity to ready for another Planetary Migration – We may have a chance of escaping extinction.
With all this, it is fair to state that Humanity must strive to make life Multiplanetary, to avert the imminent destruction from not only The Expanding Universe, But also of the Burning Sun. Leading in the pursuit of Multiplanetary life is Elon Musk, through SpaceX. Elon had constantly decried the importance of a Multiplanetary life. As we do not know what civilizations that have been lost over the years from previous interplanetary catastrophes that had struck the Earth Millions of years ago.
A Multiplanetary Life for the people of the Earth, is the only assurance of sustained extant of the Human specie.
